Marks and copyright protection
PROTECT VERITAS is built on brand-copyright-trademark protection law expertise
and web knowledge, particularly from the ecommerce and marketing angle. It is equipped to deliver trademark & copyright
protection in the web space.
Protection services for right owners offered by PROTECT VERITAS consist of detecting/fighting
sales of counterfaited products on the online marketplaces in Italy and Internationally (eBay, other ecommerce platform, search
engines, shopping channels, price comparisons websites, etc), where such violations are ramping up, following the growth of
legitimate ecommerce activity.
Three are PROTECT VERITAS' main areas of intervention:
- Fighting sales of fakes
- Investigation abuse of patent/trademarks/copyright
- Mistery Shopper
Fighting sales of fakes
On behalf of our clients, we monitor and detect presence of counterfaited items on eBay platform and report this law-breaking
sales for immediate removal from the site. We can manage just the eBay VERO program or a full-coverage service
which deliver same monitoring-detection-protection service to clients across all other online shopping destinations (search engines,
price comparison sites, etc), locally and internationally.
Patent/trademarks protection
On behalf of our clients, we monitor and detect on eBay sites the presence of products that violate patents, trademark or copyright,
though not being openly replicas or fakes. All available informations are forwarded to the clients for further action.
Mistery Shopper
On behalf of our clients, we monitor and detect on eBay site the presence of products from doubtful origin and buy those using our
“covered” accounts. These products are forwarded to our clients for them to assess originality and sourcing.
We can deliver this service also across all other online shopping destinations (search engines, price comparison sites, etc), locally
and internationally.
In any case, PROTECT VERITAS provides all required support to clients' lawyer in order to build
legal cases against violators.
